ITA - Italian Trade Agency is a Governmental body operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affair and International Co-operations that supports the business development of Italian companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy. With a motivated and modern organization and a widespread network of overseas offices, ITA provides information, assistance, consulting, promotion, and training to Italian small and medium-sized businesses. Using the most modern multi-channel promotion and communication tools.

The Italian Trade Agency in India was established in 1969  and currently maintains a presence through two offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, as well as a dedicated desk in Bengaluru.

As in the last editions, this year too we are having an Italian national pavilion with the participation from 10 Italian exhibiting companies, large turnout of specialized both in the retail and in the Ho.Re.Ca sector for food & beverages (non-alcoholic), proudly representing the Italian companies in the food & beverages (non-alcoholic) sector.The Italian food & beverages (non-alcoholic) industry shows great potential both for exports by Italian companies and for possible Italian investments in the food processing, food distribution and Ho.Re.Ca sectors.

According to data approved by GOI in 2025, India imported  food & beverages (non-alcoholic) products from Italy for a value of 127 USD million with an increase of 22.2%. Italy was the subcontinent’s second largest supplier among European Union countries.
